Was pricing a new barrel for my 20ga 870...so decided it was time to take it apart and clean it anyway. In the process it has turned from a 2+1 to a 4+1. Not concerned that I cant find the plug and that parts of the popcorn ceiling came down, it has a rifled barrel on it...no birds with this shotgun...yet.
Can I just cut a wood dowel and fit it in the magazine tube to bring it down to 2+1 if I cant find the plug if and when I purchase a slick barrel?
