Are you guys seeing a lot of wolves in the squirrels still first chance to go in morning

I went today and didnt see but 1 squirrel .. You see them around houses and other places ya cant hunt but not at the WMA.

0 in around 200 in northwest Tennessee that I know of this year..
2 in 18 in Middle Tennesse this year. It seems very regional. As a mater of a fact I think I've cleaned well over a thousand out of the west TN bottoms and never seen one in the past 10-12 years.

I've always heard that "Wolves" are more common if the place you hunt is in close proximity to Livestock, [cattle, horses, etc].
I agree because at one time I squirrel hunted close to a dairy farm and just about every squirrel I killed had one or more on it.
Here on my farm there's not much livestock and i've never killed a squirrel with a wolve in it.
