If my wife want to go with me just to sit with me and watch on a draw hunt, is that legal? She wont be hunting...
 
Thats what I think but want to make sure. She just wants to go sit.
 
I suggest you ask in the "Ask TWRA" section or contact the WMA directly. The rules used to prohibit people unless they had a license and permit but that was my memory from 20 years ago. They used to limit extra people to insure a quality hunt, and the birdwatchers can wear tan colored clothing if they like...

I don't know about all quota hunts, but it defiantly would not be allowed on some of them, like Oak Ridge. Check with TWRA or the WMA manager.

I spoke to TWRA about this 2 years ago. If during a quota hunt they must be drawn for that hunt. I now put my wife in on the draws.
 
I'm pretty sure you have to have the permit you drew to be on the wma during the hunt.

I hope scn chimes in on this. I thought you could accompany turkey hunters on WMA quota hunts and call without being drawn (provided you are otherwise licensed). If so, it seems odd that you would be prohibited from sitting and watching a family member on a deer draw hunt. But I've never thought much about it.
 
Page 36 of the hunting guide: https://www.tn.gov/assets/entities/twra ... de1617.pdf states that "Unauthorized persons are prohibited from being
in the area during big game hunts except when indicated." Catoosa lists specifically " During big game hunts, the area is open only to legal big game hunting participants, except the Cumberland Trailcorridor is open to through hiking year round."

I would call the WMA manager or TWRA to verify, outside of permit holder, who would be "authorized".
