Yep. More confusion thanks to TWRA on dividing up into 3 segments with 3 application periods. Think I remember someone saying at a Commission meeting that it was so people could decide closer to the periods if we had birds/weather was looking favorable/and the stars would align before they put in for a hunt and then could put in if everything looked good to them, instead of putting in early for a particular hunt and then not showing up to hunt a spot because something didn't suit them and a spot went unused. All the dates are- they broke it up into 3 distinct segments this year. So you'll apply in October and if you don't get drawn you can apply again in November for the next segment. Same again for end of November/December.
unless of course there is a portion of the season you don't want to hunt then skip that application.
thanks gunsmoke......yes very confusing, just like the new math.Yep. More confusion thanks to TWRA on dividing up into 3 segments with 3 application periods. The one bright spot in the mess TWRA has created.I'm personally thrilled about the 3 application periods. Instead of putting in just for up to 24 hunts, I can put in for up to 72 total. Then there's 3 different leftover drawings.
Yeah but since 2020 they are 0/2 on doing draws in a proper manner. I'm not feeling it for the Tier 2 draws either. I'm pretty confident they will screw that up too. They have zero credibility with me from now on.The one bright spot in the mess TWRA has created.
