WMA crops

Are there any regulations about walking through standing crop fields on public lands/WMAs? Corn isn't really an issue, but it's tough to walk through mature soybeans and cause absolutely zero damage to the vegetation. I know you can't cut or break off a limb when climbing, but I see walking tracks through the fields, obviously made by people, so I assume that rule doesn't include crops as long as you're not being ridiculous and causing intentional, wide scale damage.

Does someone know for sure?

No regulations I know of. Just try to respect the farmers and walk between rows best you can. The farmers lease the fields from TWRA for the crops. If you shoot a deer or two, that's better for the farmers anyway

Yea that's always been my approach, whether on public or private. I walk the rows when I can and be careful when crossing them. I just thought about it the other day walking in.
