WMA computer duck draw

Myself and a few buddies have been putting in for the computer draw for gooch the last couple years, I believe we all have 2 points now. we have been putting in as individuals. Would there be a benefit to putting in as a party? Does it increase your odds? But if we get drawn as a party we all lose our points? Even if one of us gets drawn individually we can all hunt so I don't see the benefit of creating a party and losing your points for one draw? make sense?

It is my understanding that there is no advantage or disadvantage from putting in singly or as a party, with the exception that as a party, everyone has the permit.
