For sale, NIB, unused Randall Smithsonian wearing beautiful stag with forward nickel silver hilt and nickel silver butt plate. Blade is 11" of 3/8" Swedish O-1 tool steel hand forged. $1200.

I don't have any high end Randall's. But I've carried a rat-3 for probably 14-15 years. Before he was bought out. The ones that you get now are good and I keep a couple for backup but the originals are of outstanding blade quality. If I were I the market for a nice knife I'd be looking at this .glws

Different Randall. I believe you're thinking of the line of knives from Randall Adventure & Training…the bushcraft education center. This is a Randall Made from Orlando, Fl. They've never been bought out and have been making knives in the same place, the same way since the 1930's.
