But good chance that buck wouldn't have been there if you had been there. :D

My take is (this time of year) they are usually only moving a short distance from where they've been bedding. Hard to get close enough to intercept them without spooking them first.

That's good fuel to keep you going to the woods on those days when you might rather just stay home. Good luck crossing paths with him!

Yep. It gets that way when you have 20+ cams going at any given time lol This is the earliest Ive even had a "nice" buck on this property though during season. And he had hit a few cams over a several day period so I hope he is there to stay. Cant never tell with these mountain bucks though.
 
Well its just one advantage of building your own. If something does tear up, you can fix it quick. I put alot of power in my builds to so I really dont have to check them often, even though I try to. Then I try to put them places that Ill passing through anyway, going to stands and what not. Also trained my Dad and best friend to check them when they go by any LOL

That is exactly my problem. I have a big buck on camera but can't get into where he is staying without getting busted. Hopefully he will move more when the rut starts.
