to kill out the vegetation on half my land. Dad had it timber 4 years ago and it has very few trees but is so thick with some type of vine or ivy and briers you can hardly get into it and then its got rotten tree tops hiding all in it. I fell numerous times and did a lot of crawling. Yes its great bedding but you can't hunt most of it. Any Ideas?

I was looking for a deer my wife shot today and I thought I was going to go crazy. Never found the deer or even blood once it got to cut over after 6 years of searching. Its not flat land but has hollows and ridges.

6 years seems like a long time to look for a deer, lol, that cover could also be hiding a monster buck too, I say leave it

if I do not forget to get my journal from the tractor today, I will post the correct number of "ounces" of each chemical, I do know that there is a "30 day" waiting period before planting after you have sprayed the 3 chemicals

I think Football Hunter has the right idea. Get a dozer to clear trails or a grid (shooting lanes) through it.

Don't know how much land you have but you might have the best thing around and just don't realize it. Thicker the better when it comes to holding deer on your property! I'd be set up on the edges of some of that cover. Most properties don't have nearly enough thick cover.

I still do not have the journal from my tractor yet, but based on memory the burn down using the listed chemicals is under $25.00 per acre, the only downside is having to buy the chemicals in bulk quantities, they do not spoil sitting in the container tho
