winter wheat ?

What type of winter wheat do I need to get. I saw hard red winter wheat I just dont know anything about winter wheat.

any kind will work.. deer love it mine is just comin up and they are enjoying it

Drop by the co-op and ask for winter wheat seed or better yet just ask for "feed wheat" if you going to broadcast it, it's a little cheaper. If in doubt just tell the person behind the counter what you want to do (food plot) and they will help you.

Here is a pic of one of pur plots we sowed with winter wheat 2-weeks ago - beautiful. Ours was some blend - no clue what all was in it nut it sure looks good on the ground.
