Yep. I make a few each year from the previous year's birds. Mine are plain jane, but it's a fun little hobby. You should try it @ROUGH COUNTRY HUNTER. I use a dremel tool, dawn detergent and peroxide for whitening, 2000 grit sandpaper and some clear epoxy.

I was able to salvage one wing off a road killed hen recently. I'm about to put that one together. I've heard hen bones make the best mouthpieces.

I believe he was the one that had the really fancy/nice wing bones…not the kind you would carry in the woods…or at least I wouldn't if I bought one of his

Here's a few I've made for a few friends. It's a fun hobby anybody can do. It takes an artist to really make them beautiful. I'm no artist but they do sound good and I've killed turkeys with them.

I hate to see hens run over, but I will do my best attempt at a real life game of Frogger for some road kill. I too make wing bone calls, but I'll make them from all turkeys not just hens. I don't have the patience to paint or wrap them in different colored threads. I just like seeing how the variances make calls sound different from one another.

Jakes make fine wingbone calls. Gobblers do too, sometimes. Each one is different. Not hard to make.

I've made calls on the Jordan instructions as close as I could, I've never made but a couple of full wingbones. A road killed hen get's a ride every time I see'um.

Kevin rouse makes a fine wingbone. He used snow goose bones on mine. The one on the right i got maybe 9 years ago. It's pure turkey.
