Wingbone and trumpet call.

Is the wingbone and trumpet calls about the same to learned to use? I been looking more at the wingbone call. Nobody around my area uses one. Been looking locally to see if i could find a local call builder. No luck so far. I like the way they sound . I have always wanted one.

Yea ya use em both the same. To me a well built Trumpet is easier to use than a Wingbone

How does the sound of a trumpet compare to a wingbone call? Is there any difference? I am a complete novice when it comes to both, but was thinking about adding one or the other to the call arsenal for next spring.

Trumpet call sound can vary a lot more than wingbones since they can be made different shapes and with different wood and mouthpieces. They both sound really good in the woods if you practice

I have owned both and consider the trumpet easier to play than a wingbone. I have a wing one call I made, and if I soak it with water it plays great.
