Looking toward tomorrow morning I have two spots to choose from, both on the same ridge. The deeper spot is where the ridge comes to a point and ends at a thicket where a trail leading in almost looks like a tunnel. A much shallower spot on the same ridge has me overlooking trails in 3 directions with scrapes everywhere with about 125-150 yard visibility in all directions. I am still hunting from the ground and both spots have perfect fallen trees for me to tuck into. Which one I hunt depends on what I expect the movement to be after the weather tonight.
My main question is about the weather tonight. The wind forecast shows winds at 15mph with gusts to 25 between early tonight and about 3-4am then dying down to 5-6mph before sunrise and throughout tomorrow. How would this affect movement? Would the very windy night bed them down and then they move good in the morning after the wind dies down? Also supposed to be about 46 at sunrise and 58-60 by noon.
Something in me tells me it could be a great morning. Wish it was a little cooler but at least its not 65-70.
