Anyone use it to clean your smoke-pole? I've heard it is a pretty good solvent and dries fast since it's mostly alcohol. Can you think of any negative effects?

flintlock said:Also once a year i plug my touch hole and pour Peroxide down the barrel and let it sit for half hour to Fourty five minutes..It cleans it like you would not believe!! But do not do it more then once a year as it is very Caustic to the barrel...
