Heres a wind question.They are calling for a NW wind this evening.Where i'd like to hunt a NW wind is all wrong,BUT, The wind is doing absolutly nothing right now.The flag isn't even offering to move at all.If it stayed like this it would be nice.Should I bank on the wind not blowing and hunt it,or count on it blowing from the NW and stay out?
 
I went,but didn't hunt that spot.We had a NE wind all evening.But of course I didn't see a thing..
 
IMO hunting without any wind is almost as bad as hunting the wrong wind.Give me just a slight breeze so i know where my stink is going.
 
This early in the season I'd say hunt it. Just take extra care of keeping scent free before hand/in the stand.
