Winchester Triple7 209 primers

Anyone have opinions on these? I'm almost out of Remingtons I've had for years, found these at Academy (Gander Mtn was completely out.) Package said they're especially for Triple7 powder & pellets. I'm still using Triple7 powder in my Remington 700 50 cal (not smokeless.)

If I were you I would use regular 209 primers. They're hotter than those specifically for muzzleloaders. I have 80 of the Winchester muzzleloader primers and bought a new pack of cci 209 the other day. Even better was I got em for $4

I had no problems with them. Been using them for a few years

The problem with the regular 209 primer and 777 was the development of the "crud ring" near the breech plug. The lower powered 209 seemed to alleviate the problem.

I am finishing off a pack at the gun range ever once in a while I have one that don't go bang.

It concerns me that occasionally one doesn't go off per KPH. Academy also had Federal 209A. Researching through the internet last night, apparently the hotter ones(Federal 209A, CCI, etc.)can slightly push the load up the barrel, which isn't a good thing. Here the data on the different primers:
