I seen a Winchester 270 WSM that I just love the feel of more than just wanting that caliber. It is the extreme weather in blue instead of stainless. Only offered at Sportsman Warehouse. It is by far the best feeling rifle I have held, weight, balance, look, and feel. Just wondering how the 270 WSM is in accuracy??? Also has anyone reloaded it and got the same results in velocity as the factory round.

The 270 WSM will be as accurate as you are a shooter. As far as reloading, I have gotten more fps than factory rounds.

How is this for accuracy? 3 shot group at 100 yds.

with some of the new powders you can get factory ammo speeds,

I like the round,,but not in a short action rifle,,it is kinda like puttin a 454 in a Vega

That's what I'm looking for. That is excellent my friend !!!!!!!!!!

My handload gets 3360 with a 130 gr bullet out of my Kimber. It's 1/2 MOA with that load and kills stuff where it stands. I love mine, out of my 8 rifles, it's my favorite.

The gun sells for 650, yes 650 and has a Bell and Carlson with aluminum bedding. That's a steal of a deal.

It is a Winchester M-70 extreme weather in blue instead of stainless. I have only seen these at Sportsman Warehouse in Olive Branch. It is not listed on the Winchester site. Most extreme weather goes for around 1000 for stainless.

I have a Browning A-Bolt in 270wsm. Only complaints I have are the ammo prices. But if you roll your own you won't have to worry about it...

Looks like the 270 WSM can be accurate, price is somewhat high on ammo, but reloads is the way to go. I have spent plenty on finding that perfect load on other calibers. I see some people here have some pet loads. Any other advice on reloading the 270 WSM??? Looks like I may be getting a new rifle.

What is that load, if you don't mind me asking.

130 gr Hornady Interbond
67 gr RL-19
CCI 250
Rem brass

This load is safe in my gun, work up to that load in yours.

RL-22 and Magpro are good powders to try as well.
