Winch question

I traded my redneck golf cart for a 4wheeler. It's a used Fourtrax 300 2wd model. I would like to add a winch to the front. There are a ton of winches on ebay for $59 - 99 rated to 2000lbs. Are they junk?

Good luck finding one with a mounting bracket for it that doesn't have to mount out front. I have a 99 model 300 4x4 and bought one that even said in the listing would fit it. After all but tearing the front end off I emailed them and they said it was designed for it. I called B.S. and sent them pictures showing otherwise and that I'd love to keep it but it doesn't fit the way they said it did. In the end, they took it back on their dime.
