Im sitting in the stand and have yet to see a deer from it this morning. However, the last mile of the drive to the farm was exciting. Saw multiple groups of bucks roaming in peoples yards together. Everything from a 10 point to spikes. Wont be long before theyre all broken up, surprised to see them still grouped up really.
 
Glad to hear they're still bunched up, because I haven't seen a buck on my place yet. Hopefully they'll move on in over the next couple weeks

I'm in NW Wilson where it was slow this morning here too. Saw a few but nothing like what I had been seeing over the past week. Bucks seem to have mostly separated from their bachelor groups around here too.

I have seen bachelor groups as late as the first week of November. One of my better bucks I killed on the opening day of Muzzleloader back when it started on a Monday, and 7 bucks came out together. He was the biggest so I shot him. Saw that group together for another week.
 
I've seen more single bucks the past couple weeks myself. One of em was interested in a doe last weekend. It's showing the first signs of getting started

Same here. Had a small little buck, probably a 1.5 year old do a small chase in an open field. Was hoping he would push her by way, but it didnt happen. Things are about to heat up.

I hunt in Laguardo and live there as well. I have started to see new bucks on the cameras and they've mostly been by themselves the last couple of weeks. I've also seen some bucks crossing the roads as I leave to go to work or as I'm coming home. I've only seen one mature buck though and he has broken his main beam passed the g3 on his right side. He'd be 10 pointer with it still there. Think I'd let him walk this year if I see him. I did kill a really nice 12 pointer during the August hunt though.
 
I hunt mainly Wilson also. I've been seeing singles for a while now. Passed on a borderline shooter last weekend that came in by himself making a rub and working a scrape on the way in.

Our county doesn't seem to get a lot of publicity, which is good in some way, but the quality of bucks and the overall herd health in my neck of the woods is really good in my opinion.

I've been getting pictures of this dude for about a month. He finally showed face during the most recent full moon. I'd like to just see him once.

Love the double throat patch on that deer!

I hunt Wilson county as well and there are definitely some really good deer there. On my lease last weekend I saw 10 different bucks but only one was a shooter and he never came in range. Most of them were still travelling with at least one other buck including the shooter. Saturday morning I had 6 bucks come by me. A single, a double and a triple. All passed within 15 yards. Oldest of the bunch was a 2.5 year old 8 but not one I wanted to shoot.

My profile pic is a good ol Wilson County buck from two years ago.

Great looking deer! Saw a lot of new scrapes in the woods this week. Its almost here, the lights are about to flip!
