Will Rut last until weekend

Newbie question, if the rut has started this week, will it last until this weekend? Can't get off work this week to get in the woods. Second question do you think the Rut will go into next week?

Not all the does come into heat at the same time. Any time you can get into the woods is worth hunting

Lots of variables- what part of the state are you in? I'm in northern middle tn and have been hearing about a lot of chasing going on but where I hunt I haven't seen much action at all.(Sumner County)

Yes. It will go through Thanksgiving in most places, but may not even start until after Thanksgiving in other parts. In the month of Nov. just get int eh woods.

Humphreys was full-on hot rut last weekend. I have never been in such an absolute pandemonium of chasing and freaking out. This weekend with the new moon should be the end of it.

I'm not sure what area of Humphreys County you're hunting but I'm in the Halls Creek area.

I was in the woods last week for over 30 hours and didn't see any chasing.

I'm not doubting your word as stated above , Does come in at different times.

I just hadn't seen any chasing in my area until today.

I saw three bucks chasing two Does on my way to town of course.

The remained of the month should be hot in my neck of the woods.

Yeah they quit on the weekend. Should start back Monday. Probably take Thanksgiving off to since it's a holiday.
