The Turkeys will mostly target the wheat seed ! Alot depends on temps. and the amount of sun your plot gets !
You will get growth ! The rape will come up but you will not see much growth this late in the year from it, as you would if it was planted in late august. as well the clover, I would wait on the clover and frost seed it in late Febuary, If your looking for a Perrenial plot from it.
Your best bet this late will be from the wheat ! if you can find it and get it on the ground Rye Grain (Not Grass) will be the best, and will germinate on concrete. Rye Grain will germinate at 38 degrees, and continue to grow at 45 degrees.
There calling for several days of rain, so if you can find some, put it out as well, if not take a inventory of the damage the turkeys have done to your wheat, and maybe go back early this coming week and add some more before or during the rain !
Your in the same boat as me! been fighting it all fall with this weather ! Just over seeded Wheat, and Rye on our plots today, HOPING we get this rain !
Good Luck !!!!
