Add the rifle to the Kifaru gunbearer and I'm at 66llbs. SUre would be nice if I wasn't toting 15lbs of water.

You can lose the following:
pillow-use your coat
your daughter's flaming red blankie
1 of them knives/we have 4 already
that gallon dixie cup unless you need a pond dipper
compass/don't lose sight of me
toothpaste/just use your brush with some water
looks likes way to many meds laying there/no pain-no elk
3liter bottle of water/ It's gonna pour cats and dogs the 18th and 21th.

That should get you to 55lb so you can keep up.

The bed is prolly lighter :grin:
Sleeping bag is already in pack. Its a Big Agnes 0degree bag and its a pain to fit in the pack. The tent is attached to bottom of pack and its an REI Arete.
