Don't know, have never have had them to return an email to start the process. Ended up just taking them back to where they were purchased and exchanged them.

Ive done this about 3 times, and usually they will send you a better model. Takes about a week. I sent in a 5mp cam, and they sent back a 8mp. I hate a crappy camera, but they are pretty simple to deal with, and dont ask any questions.
