Two questions please.
1) what do you think the age of this deer is?

and
2) do you think these are the same deer? the one from above and this one?

Top buck 3.5 (his body looks 2.5 in the pics), and by comparing brow tines, it appears they could be the same buck, with the top pics more recent than the bottom pic. Does this jive with the date of the pics? It would be nice if you could see the right ear in detail in the top pics to see if it has the same irregularity as seen in the bottom pic. My guess on spread is about 17" or thereabouts. Nice buck, thanks for sharing.

Top pics taken this year at 20 yds. Bottom pic taken July 2015 at 200 yds with a DSLR and then zoomed in and cropped. I do have another picture that shows the right ear with a similar cut. So I am inclined to think they are the same since you have pointed that out. Thanks for helping. My personal guess is 2.5 in bottom and 3.5 in top but I am not vey good at estimating ages.

Now that you've stated the bottom pic is from last year, the top from this, assuming same general area, yes, most probably same buck.

I believe the top buck's outside spread will push 19 inches after the velvet is off.

Most probably 3 1/2 this year, although I was questioning 2 1/2.
Exceptional yearlings CAN have antlers like the bottom pic.

Same deer..a slightly different angle makes a rack look a bit different. The brow tines are same length and the angles between main beam and tines are all the same.
