Why no leased dove hunts posted for Region 4

Just looked on the TWRA website for posted leased dove fields and they are not any posted. Is there a reason why there is some for all the other regions but not 4?
 
Region 2 is up. Only Regions 4 has not been posted.

This is the first time in a long time the Percy Priest field isn't listed. It's going to be very quiet back by the house for once.
 
It's generally just a few days before the season that leased fields are done. Should find something on there early next week.

i think they do not want people scouting the fields out before time beacouse they are afaid someone will try and bait it up, and some of the fields are just bad and some arde great!
 
The field that i hunted last year in Greene that you all had was the best hunt i had been on in a long time. If you didnt get your limit it was your own fault. I finally got mine after 9 million shells, a bruised shoulder and a sunburn but it was awesome.
 
They always post Region 4 at the last minute. I don't even start checking until after squirrel opens. I do try to drive around the area to scout fields, though. Sometimes you can get lucky and find one that's just been cut and get permission. Then you wont have to fight the crowds at the leased fields.
 
I just found out today that the field that I hunted last year that was leased by TWRA the owner hasnt chopped it yet, that is the way my luck goes.....
 
hunted 1 last year on opening day & it had been a corn field,it was cut at least a month before,nothing on the ground but weeds & corn stubble.i dont buy the theory that they are making sure there will be birds,i think they are trying to limit peta having the chance to target the fields,there ended up being very very few doves
 
Mike that is my same theory. beacouse they tend to lease the same fields every year and a few years back someone baited forks of the river wma and they had to close it for opening day. since then they have held there info longer and longer. this is the worse ever, i always depend on twra for a good place to hunt and they always have some very good fields and they have some that are not so good.
 
They still havent posted leased fields yet which is understandable due to most farmers just starting to chop today in this area. Im sure TWRA will get us some good ones.....
 
i checked some of the fiels that were leased last year and all were cut and have been cut for some time!! come on twra let us know, so we can make plans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
i hunted that field last yead and had a limit quick. but the field is soy bean this year so i am saying no to that field.

**Notice** When attempting to provide quality leased fields, last minute decisions have to be made concerning which fields to lease. This increases the chances of the fields providing quality hunts. In 2011, Region 4 expects to lease fields in Greene, Loudon, and Washington counties. Historically, Jefferson County has also had field(s). This year, many farmers have just started cutting silage. This will likely affect our leasing program and those last minute decisions will be as important as ever. Due to these factors, hunters can expect to see specific leased field information posted no earlier than August 30. This information will be updated throughout the day and up to Sept 1 as contracts are signed. Thank you for your patience.
 
i dont know what site your looking at but they got em posted when i made the post at 11:13 ,i just need somebody to tell me if its been disced or not.can anybody drive by & give a man a break so he dont have to drive from clinton to look?
 
the 1 on 68 just off 75,coarse theres 4 of them out that direction,gotta hit walmart for a fresh battery for the robo dove :)
