Smokeless why .45/70?

I was thinking about a smokeless conversion and noticed that most are 45/70 what about a hand I rifle chambered in .500 s&w? thoughts on this any input will be appreciated

Its been tried. Bore is too tight for .50 cal sabots. If you want to full form you can use whatever caliber you want. You'll just be on your own for load data.

There have been a few full form guns built in .416 and .40 that are absolute hammers.
