Just got in the stand after moving along the edge of the fields for an hour. Was hoping I would see some movement at sun up in the front field since I've been seeing a lot of tracks along and in it. All the deer I've seen from the stand have been 8am or later so hoping one strolls by. Good luck guys!

Where y'all hunting today? Woods, thickets, or fields? Saw nothing in the fields or in the stand in the hardwoods early, walked the fields to the thickets and didn't see anything, and now I'm back in the stand in the hardwoods.
 
Sat on the edge of an old clear cut this morning. Was a doe express way for most of the morning after sun up. I had big plans going in to kill a doe but when the opportunity arose I started thinking about all the work that follows.

Im hunting a hardwood ridge that runs into a cutover.
 
Have tracks all over the place in the big field but no sign of any this morning. Starting think they are moving in the pm or at night.
 
We hunted in Wilson Co this AM. My brother hunted his ground blind on a field saw a spike and had 4 does get by him before he could see them and they went on to the neighbors land.

I actually decided to hunt off the ground and hunt the cedar thickets and thick stuff. I was in my second set up and after sitting for a while I decided to move 10 feet to a blown down tree and when I moved one started blowing about 30 yds away. :grin: Don't know what it was.
