Wife has been after me for a month now to have a yard sale to get rid of excess items so I will be watching people grope over things on Saturday morning-sucks!. Sunday I am going to be in the stand. Weather forcast from my area states rain will start Sunday evening. Shouls be a good morning.I'll be there. Will not hunt again during rain with a bow as I got burnt last year when I shot an eight and about 20 minutes after I shot it poured rain. Could not find blood trail.Sucks also!

Yes sir, I will second that. :) :) :)

Hey, a month ago would have been before season and you could have killed two birds with one stone, yard sale prior to season and making the wife happy. :)

Front coming through, yes...Tropical storm blowing up from the gulf??? NOT A CHANCE. Heavy rains and blood trails don't go together very good.

it's really a matter of waiting until the weather gets here to determine exactly if and when I'll go Sunday. There might be a good push of movement sat morning and the post front weather on Monday and Tuesday is looking quite ripe for early mornings in the acorn glen. I'm just glad it's deer season and we can have this debate!

I think I am going to go Sunday. I'm going to put out an umbrella or two and see if any deer come through to pick them up. That isn't considered baiting is it?

rain not expected here until late sunday but I will not bowhunt in the rain. as others have said, blood trails and rain don't mix.

Should be a good day in Haywood. rain suppose to hit around 9:00 Saturday night and end around 3:00 am Sunday morn. I plan on hunting Sat. eve and morning and afternoon on Sunday

Sunday is also the only day I can go. Goin to the game today. I've had tickets for a couple months. Hopefully the weather holds off until after sunset.
