Gonna try to find a new tree I saved a waypoint for without putting a tack on last Wednesday. Hopefully, I can find it in the dark and get myself and my Summit up it without too much commotion.

It's south of an area I hunted the last couple of weeks with lots of sign, but no luck. This spot should be good though, if there's any deer movement. It's overlooking where two funnel trails intersect, one where the old cutover narrows down a bunch because of the second funnel, a draw with a rub near the top and lots of fresh red oak acorns on the ground everywhere. We'll see, and hopefully I can hang in there til one or so in the afternoon.

I wish I was. My buddy has been gone for a few months on a work assignment and demands that we go fishing tomorrow. He and I both know that with the cold front, we dont stand much of a chance to catch anything. Oh well, he has been gone for a while so ill oblige him. First time ive ever complained about going fishing!
