I haven't converted one since slufoot got out of the game. My daughter has asked for one for Christmas. Who is the go to now and what is the going rate? I prefer 209 conversion just to be consistent to mine and my son's.

I would also consider buying one if someone has one for sale.

If Hankins doesn't have any ready for sell. Just find a cva v2 45-70 stainless with a muzzlebrake on it. Send the barrel to him and he'll have it back fast. Very easy to deal with and great customer service if needed.

Last time I checked he was out of stock according to his website. I checked because I was going to order one or send him a barrel I have for a conversion.

I have a 45/70 CVA Hunter conversion. I didn't get it from Hank and mine does not have a muzzle break. I don't need one. It doesn't kick any harder than other MZ 's I've shot
