It sure was cold. But I dressed right and was fairly comfortable. Deer were moving great. Roughly half a dozen on my side and roughly half a dozen across creek in field on other property. Saw a buck cruisin the other side and then possibly a chase too. All does on my side. Screwed my day up by rushing a shot and making a marginal hit on a doe. But dang those nanners were picking me out good. Slick old does. Hope a big boy comes by there soon while I sit in the tree. Who all saw deer in the 20 degree temps today and how many? Any rutting behavior?

Saw 13 I could identify... 2 or 3 more way back in the woods. 1 button and 1 2.5 buck that definitely chased 2 does. Really good day! I'm in Murfreesboro, on 96 east of Franklin.

Watched a deadgum nice buck run a doe for several minutes this morning in the sage field across from big east fork at old harding in Fernvale. He was on her every move and he was big, probably 140ish! Too bad I was trying to get those 2500 peoples lights back on!!!!! Williamson county

sure wish I could hunt somewhere in fernvale.

I saw a spike i passed Saturday that was with a doe, all by himself. then I saw a basket 7 pt. Then around 10:30 saw a 6 pt by himself and then a spike and 3 pt together.

this afternoon, I saw 0 but when i got down and walked back to the truck, I saw a doe on the neighboring property that borders mine. I knew there was a buck with her, but she ran off by herself. when I was walking out, I heard one tear off in her direction, but could not see it as it was dark.

1 Buck 3 does 8:45-9:15
Buck was looking for doe's but no buck was trailing the 3 doe's at 9:15

Also 1 unidentified deer across the ridge cut the hill on me and slipped down into a creek all I could see was the body of the deer

I was covered up with deer til 10am, probably had 30+ doe running all around me from sun up til 10am but only one dinky spike pushing them....... Great morning but I swore a dominant buck would have been tending these doe's.......they must have been split off with a couple actual HOT doe's or something......left scratching my head.......I'm dying to take that giant 7pt I posted on here a few days ago

I saw 15 tuesday afternoon, no bucks.

five wednesday morning, one spike chasing.

eight wednesday afternoon, a four point chasing hard.

going back this morning.
