Besides myself, my wife will be with me with her little .45. I know of two in Cheatham Co. that will be using their flinter .54 calibers. Also a friend from north Alabama who hunts in Franklin County is hunting with his .50 caliber Tennessee flintlock.

not me, just had an injection in my neck for nerve pain and doc orders are to stay still and let the meds absorb for a couple of days. Such a heart breaker too! I just made an experimental liquid patch lube to try out.

Anyone have any luck today? I saw two turkeys and a bunch of squirrels in the wet woods this morning.

As soon as I get a chance to get out there I I'll be hunting with a .45 flintlock. Loaded with a .445 round ball on pillow ticking over 75grs of goex fff.

I use a Traditions .45 side lock, 70 gr of black powder and a patched round ball. Not interested in shooting an in-line. I'm sure they are fine rifles and have more range, but I just enjoy the replica black powder rifles.
