Any of you fine folks hunt around there? A buddy of mine bought some property last year and I'll be hunting up there a few times this year.. Just wondering how the hunting is around there as far as numbers, size, etc..

There's probably some good deer there. I used to travel to work through Whitleyville, and would sometimes see some good bucks in fields.

I hunted a very large property in Whitleyville for probably 20 something years but it has also been that long since I have hunted there. Killed a lot of deer and some fairly nice bucks but no really big deer. Back then it was almost all big woods hunting and almost no agriculture to speak of.

A friend of mine owns about a 1000 acres there I believe . He says folks are always wanting to hunt it.

Lots of deer in that county and a good processor in whitleyville to boot
