The wife likes to catch the whites when they are running, they are fun to catch and eat pretty good too.

You gotta cut the red streak out of em. Batter and fry em fresh within a day or to. There pretty darn good. I usually clean 15 and give half of em to my neighbors my family eats the other half that way they never get frozen.How do u cook them. Batter them in cornmeal and drop em in 350 degree grease. The wind has been awful. We filled a cooler with crappie but it wasnt worth the wind burnCaught 30 more today fishing with a friend from Nashville. Took three hours and the wind was brutal. LoL
