White Bass Frenzy

Yesterday went bass fishing which quickly turned into a white bass fishing trip. We would go through spells of catching em every cast. Although I am not big on these, we had an absolute blast. We culled for at least an hour. Some of them probably went over a pound.

I too am an opportunistic white bass fisherman. I mainly run into them in the fall and always have to stop and catch a bunch! Great fight for there size and not bad eating.

That, my good man, is a great fish taco feast! Put the fillets in a zip lock with olive oil and McCormicks Fajita Seasoning, flop the bag around to coat everything then marinate overnight. Break out the cast iron skillet and blacken the fillets, get some corn tortillas and everything else you need for taco fillings and knock yourself out.
