White Bambi

Seen in the Oak Ridge area yesterday by a relative. This white fawn seems to have some dark hair on it's head and does not seem to have pink eyes or nose so it's probably not an albino. I think the general idea is that they do not last long because predators can easily see them.

This one was hit by a wheat header 11 years ago we doctored her up she has been around the farm her entire life, everyone for miles around know her she will eat out of your hand.

I bet if one of these showed up where you were hunting your hunting would get ruined because a lot of bunny-huggers could show up to take pictures. If I ever see one of these in the field I'm going to say "Shooo. Shooo. Go away!" Or something far less printable!

Very cool photos. I bet a lot of people wanted to shoot it. But if I had ever brought something like that home it would have probably been immediate divorce and family disownment!

If someone shot it they kept it quiet. We had him on camera 5 yrs. During winter you could see him half mile away

Albino is a genetic flaw tbh in the world of genetics. I'm glad Alabama doesn't have it and even my wife who is a vet thinks it's a dumb law. To the OP, beautiful deer!

Personally I wouldn't shoot it only because I would like to continue to see it on my property. If someone else wanted to I see anything wrong with harvesting one but they would get a pass from me.

Oh I know just saying in general whether legal or not it would get a pass. Like I said also if a hunter wants to take one there is nothing wrong with it either (providing that it's legal).

Your right about not being legal to kill albinos in the state.

But I'm 99% sure that one is piebald. And probably the most beautiful one I've seen! Love the mask on the eyes

TWRA should have commissioned gatodoc to harvest that monster albino "for research purposes" and then had it full body mounted to use at TWRA sponsored events. It would motivate a huge attendance to the event by the general public.

My wife and I saw the piebald deer that's not far from us near the AL/TN border. I was driving, no pics.

That would require imaginative forward thinking. Gov. Doesn't do that well.

Man that is really really cool! Even though unlikely, it would be really neat to see that deer walking through the woods in a few years. I've never gotten to see a piebald or albino deer in person before, it's some I hope the Lord blesses me with sometime lol

Neat! My first deer I attempted to hunt happened to be a piebald spike. I have seen him 4 times. If all goes well and he made it through the winter he's who I am going after this year
