Well as most of y'all know, I got one of my lonewolfs stolen. And now I gotta replace it. All my other stands are hung. I need one to use to bounce around to different spots and to take on out of town hunts. I was gonna get a millennium hang on and sticks, but that starts getting pretty expensive and heavy if you buy both. So I been thinking about a new climber instead. But then you limit yourself to certain trees. I can't make up my mind for nothin. Which would you get?
 
I just purchased a Summit Viper Classic (Steel Version) weighs 27lbs. Ordered it from Rogers Sporting Goods for $150 plus $30 shipping. It included the rapid climb stirrups.

As you already know, you can't beat a lone wolf for bouncing around. Unless you buy a new stand used, you are going to have to spend some money to get a quality stand.

Muddy's Outfitter stand might be a good choice for $150. It is heavier due to it being steel, but it should still be pretty mobile and comfortable. I would go back to Lone Wolf sticks if possible. You should be able to find a set of 4 for around $100 on archerytalk.com.

If you decide to go with a climber, I would look at an Ol' Man aluminum climber. Go to their website and watch the video on how to use it...pretty neat.
 
I'm thinking about one of those new gorilla aluminum climber. I really ain't worried about the price, just got my quarterly bonus check. Lol I'm just having hard time choosing climber or lock on. I have a few climbers, but they are all the cheap heavy walmart ones. I think I would like to have a nice light climber, I just don't like bein limited to certain trees. So that's what is makin me think millennium lock on. Dang I hate making decisions. Lol. I gotta do somethin tho, cause I'm leaving for a hunt Friday.
 
comfortable climber hard to beat. summit. but there is places i cant really get right tree. take loc on also just n case
 
Summit viper is my favorite and summit is the only climbing stand I will ever own! We have owned at least 10 of them over the last 9 years and never had a problem not to mention, they are very comfortable and lightweight.
 
Im going to nominate the summit as well. The viper is an excellent stand, light, and super comfortable.

I use a Summit Cobra because I bow hunt a lot, and its lighter without the bar around the front, but much more comfortable than the open shot...
