Which type of rail/mount for scope do I need

Someone please educate me. I am having my Browning BPS turkey gun drilled for a scope rail and am planning on a red dot scope. Is the Picatinny rail what I need? Or Weaver?

I would go with a good quality picatinny rail. It gives you a lot of flexibility in scope placement

You can get a Burris FastFire III with an included rail.
