I'm set on 10 power but am trying to decide between the following : Swarovski slc hd $1800.00 zeiss conguest hd. $800, or meopta meostar hd $1,200.00

I know they are all top of the line but just wondering if anyone has any experience with any of these. I am really leaning toward the Swarovski.

I am assuming you are talking about binos? If cost is not an issue, go with the Swaros. I had the Conquest HD's and sold them when I looked through a pair of Vortex Viper HD's. Sold the Conquests, bought the Vipers and pocketed $300 and have a pair of binos that are as good.

Also, just an FYI, I had a HORRIBLE experience with Zeiss when my eyecup broke the second time I used my Conquests.

Same binos I have. The best $600 I have ever spent on optics. They are one step below the alpha binos (perfect 10s like Swaro EL, Leica, etc), but they are a 1/3 to a 1/4 of the cost. As stated above, if money is not a factor, it is hard to beat Swaro optics.

I got the vortex viper HD 12x50 and I've been out west a few time with them and they are AWESOME!!!

They are very close to my dads Swaro ELs. I've done side by side comparisons.

I've been using pentax dcf sp's for 6 years and they are very high quality for a pair of $600 binos, so it's going to take something incredible for me to be able to notice a difference!

I believe it. I read numerous reviews on birding forums that raved about the Vortex Vipers, thus why I went and looked through them 3-4 years ago.

I live in Collierville as well. If you ever want to look through them, let me know

Just ordered the Swarovski slc with hd. Scotty at cameraland hooked me up big time with a brand new set of 10x42. Can't wait to give them a whirl!
