I totally agree with Vermin. I use a Black Diamond Alpine Bod harness in which I attach my 36" nylon runner to my tree rope via a locking carabiner. I actually made my rope-style tree rope because I could save a few bucks doing so. My rope-style tree strap is made of a piece of 6ft 11mm or 12mm static rope (black). My prussic knot is a piece of 6mm static rope. 8mm was a little to thick to work with. I believe I spent around 60 bucks and little of my time. Here are some good forums about these items: http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=740683 http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthrea ... 1065917366 http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1340803
