Where to hunt hogs in TN?

Does anybody know of a place my brother and I could hunt hogs for free? Like a WMA or a management type hunt. We don't have dogs. We would be using bows and a .223. Any shared knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks

Catoosa and Cherokee National forest are the only places that have hog hunts. Check the hunting guide for dates.

Drive to a different state if you can. I highly suggest Texas.

Big South Fork also has a season that starts I think Jan 1st and goes to the end of the normal TN hunting seasons. Going to Georgia or TX is your best bet for hogs. South Carolina has a LOT of hogs, but it is difficult to hunt them without knowing someone or paying a lot of money.

I have to go to TX in a couple weeks and I'm booking a one day hog hunt before I go home. :) It is about $185 to hunt per day, but they have a 98% success rate. I don't think there is a limit on them, but each outfitter/ranch is different. Some charge you by the hog, some by weight, etc. I can't wait to go! I'm like a kid at Christmas! :D
