A lot of people have been replanting due to the army worms. At least that was my case. This past weekend I was planting 16 acres and hunting was the last thing on my mind. Here in about 2 weeks, I'll be after them.

In general, I agree - it has been cooler than average for this time of year and expected more folks to be in the woods and killing by now.

Only have a doe pic so far. However, I was thinking the same thing due to the lack of BBD comments and picks. If I remember correctly 2019 and 2020 there were a LOT of nice bucks harvested early.

here's a lil one that walked under me yesterday. Almost shot a doe too, but they came outta nowhere on my bad side and boogered by the time I had my bow ready. Found two different hot spots with acorns the deer were hitting all afternoon.
