I know this weekend wasn't the kind of weather we want / need, but still feel like I should have seen more than I did.

I'm hunting a little over 400 acres in Milton. hunted about 13 hours this weekend and only saw 4 small 6's and a single doe. usually I see several groups of does with anywhere with around 4-8 in the group. most of the bucks were just riding around doing there thing, but the 1 doe I saw did have a buck with her. have they all bedded up already? anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
 
Friend of mine hunted some federal land down past me somewhere by cuba landing where you have to shoot a doe before a buck. He never saw a doe in 3 days of hunting & said he had a nice 10 point pass within 20 yards but could not take him. For me here in Dickson 7 different bucks over 3 mornings, 1 yearling & 1 doe (they were together & got spooked by something up the draw)
 
This time last year I was seeing 10-25 does per day.. maybe 3-6 bucks.. this year.. we saw 1.. 4 point on the juvy hunt..no does.. and I hunted sat morn and never seen a deer.. its like they have vanished.. finally sat eve I got one about the size of a german shepard.. of all things it was a button buck..

maybe it'll pick up toward the end of the week, the weather still isn't looking much better though. I was just really expecting to see A buck and tons of does, never thought I would almost only see bucks. I even cheated and rode around checking all the hot spots last night and still only saw 1 little lonely buck.
 
Saw a ton of does over the weekend and only a couple smaller bucks. No sign of the rut here this past weekend.
