Well sometimes you'll see them cutting in pines. They find a few other things too. I saw one a few years ago eating a red mushroom. I hope that wasn't a bad idea for him.

Seen a ton of them last few mornings with temps in the low 40s. All have been on the ground with a few pairs chasing each other up and down trees.

Find a mulberry tree and you'll find squirrels.

On the ground around pecans or oaks. I counted 17 on the ground in a 2 acre lot today, of course it was in the city limits but they were everywhere!
