Where and how should I scout this?

I have alot of acreage to hunt and I don't know where to look or start scouting here. Where would you take a look at? It's is really challenging to scout for me, because I never know where to start.

I really would take yal but land owner is very strict. What would you do by looking at that picture?

I can't see the pic but that doesn't matter. Start walking it and keep note of every deer trail you find. Look for acorn trees, other food sources, bedding areas, and anywhere a deer might want to be.


Some members here can give you advice with a topo map but only true scouting works.

Picture makes no sense to me but I can tell you where to start. Find the preferred food source and start there.
