Food Plots When to turn?

Had oats and rape in plot over the winter. Need to disk in what's left. When do ya think I should do it? May come down to when it's dry enough to drive through it but, want to be ready for spring planting of Deer and people plot.

I go through that decision every Spring myself. Seems that most of the time it boils down to - as you said - when the ground dries up enough. Right now it's too early in my opinion as the deer are still using my food plot. I like to at least let them keep producing until the Spring Greenup which starts all the natural feed going so that deer don't really need the foodplots.

Would it be practical to no-till plant into the standing crop? That would allow deer to get the maximum value out of your planning, and save you some diesel fuel.
