I picked up a copy of the latest Rifle Shooter Magazine Jan/Feb 2009 the other day. It has a couple of good articles in it on Scopes and or Mounts.
A link to the one on scope problems "When Scopes Go Bad" by Craig Boddington is hopefully below. It mentions some of what to look for when a scope is going bad or does go south without jumping to the wrong conclusion to fast. ;)

The other article I was unable to find it on there site, maybe somebody will have better luck than I. It is by Wyane van Zwoll "The Looking Glass" section titled "Mount Up". It talks about How Toos on mounting scopes with different types of Mounts.
Both are good articles and both have been talked about on here a good bit and will likely be again.
However old hands that can always use a reminder from time to time,or newbiees/novices that wants some infromation on such should find both to help in that.
