I stopped using deer scents long ago. By the time the bottle gets to you it doesn't smell right and with every body and their brother using it they've grown keen to it. Granted if the right buck in the right mood catches a whiff he'll come running.

I usually start using a little estrous this weekend.Don't know if it works but i have no proof that it doesn't so i use it.

I have heard that code blue is the best you can buy at say Wal-Mart. If you can get it from a deer farm in KY that draws it straight from the deer, it's the best. I have scared at least 3 good bucks off using ticks products. I don't hardly use any scent any more. Best thing is to save the tarsal glands off of does and bucks, and use them. Best to trade them with a buddy, or use them in a different location where the local deer don't recognize the scent. Just my thoughts.
