When do coyotes loose winter coat?

When do coyotes start shedding their nice winter coat?
I'd like to get at least one more with a pelt worth saving.

They should start having some rub marks on them anytime

I've had them rubbed as far back as December. Some of them never really have good fur in the first place. Then others will be fine on the back but will have red belly which looks like crap and I'm not even sure what causes that. I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find a good one now but I have never caught one this late. Usually they start rubbing across the shoulders and down the backbone. May not be real noticeable if you don't know what to look for.

I've already seen two of them with most of their winter coats gone.

everything we have shot in the last 2 weeks have rub marks, 2 were pretty heavy.

Got some on the trail cam today.
Beautiful red, but losing fur.
