If you hunt in March and April are you orphaning little ones? Just curious, not too broke up about it

From about mid April to mid May...in time for fresh fawns and turkey poults...
Im not one to hunt during the months pups are being born or raised, also dont want to kill a female that may have pups, just dont think its very ethical, I give them time to get out on their own and then its game on.
